Robert Seaton was a member of C Company, 18th Combat Engineers, and was involved with construction of the Alaska Highway in the Kluane Lake Region from May 7, 1942 to January 26, 1943. During this period he wrote a diary documenting conditions in the construction camps and the lives of the work crews. Shown here is a humourous extract from Mr. Seaton’s diary for June 1942.
