morale-building memo for all construction workers
Letter to "All Personnel of the Northwest Service Command" dated April 28, 1943 from J.A. O’Connor, Brigadier General of the Northwest Service Command, calling attention to an article written in a German propaganda magazine ridiculing the attempt to build the Alaska Highway. Probably used as a morale-building memo for all construction workers, O’Connor points out that America would not have been connected from coast to coast "if cries of "It can’t be done!" had been heeded".
