bear skin hung on building
Photo of two men standing on each side of a bear skin hung on the side of a building/tent. Yukon Government officials gave permission for all U.S. Soldiers and Public Roads Administration staff to obtain one dollar hunting permits as residents. Other construction workers had to obtain expensive non-residency hunting permits which required the use of hunting guides. ca. 1942.
