Mile Post 0 at Dawson Creek, British Columbia: the start of the Alaska Highway and the last stop for the Northern Alberta Railway. In March 1942 it was the scene of unprecedented activity as the first U.S. Army troops arrived to begin construction of the Alaska Highway. During construction, Edmonton and Fort St. John became the headquarters for the southern end of the road. No date.
